About the California Commissioning Collaborative

The CCC is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. Our purpose is:

  • To improve building and system performance by developing and promoting viable building commissioning practices in California;

  • To facilitate the development of cost effective programs, tools, techniques and service delivery infrastructure to enable the implementation of building commissioning processes;

  • To educate and inform concerning building commissioning processes; and

  • To identify opportunities, establish priorities and promote solutions relating to building commissioning processes in California.

The CCC has no formal members. Anyone who lives or works in California and supports our goals, ideals and purposes is welcome to attend meetings and contribute their ideas.

We do have a nine-member Board of Directors that governs the CCC. Board Members represent the organizations that fund the CCC, including California utilities and government agencies.

We also have an Advisory Council that helps direct the CCC's projects by making recommendations to the Board on technical and other matters. The Advisory Council is appointed by the Board and currently has 10 members. They include commissioning providers and representatives of utilities, government agencies and research labs.
